Our Mission

HealthClues exists to make evidence-based health information accessible to everyone. We believe that understanding your health should not require a medical degree — just a trustworthy guide.

Who We Are

HealthClues is an independently run health information publication. We started it out of the same frustration many readers have: too much health content online is either poorly sourced, written to sell a product, or both. Our goal is simpler — research each topic properly, cite where the information actually comes from, and let you check our sources for yourself.

We are a small, independent team. We are not a hospital, clinic, or medical practice, and we want to be upfront about that. See our Editorial & Fact-Checking Process page for exactly how we research and verify what we publish, and where we're still building out our review process.

Our Editorial Standards

Evidence-Based Content

We cite peer-reviewed research from reputable journals and institutions including PubMed, NIH, WHO, and major medical associations, with links included at the end of each article. We do not publish health claims that are not supported by credible scientific evidence, and we do not fabricate quotes or attribute statements to people or organizations who did not make them.

Where We're Still Growing

We do not yet have a formal panel of licensed clinicians reviewing every article before publication. We're honest about that rather than claiming otherwise. As we bring on qualified reviewers for specific medical topics, those articles will be clearly marked with the reviewer's real name and credentials.

Transparency

We disclose our monetization methods (advertising), clearly label sponsored content, and never allow commercial relationships to influence our editorial content. Our recommendations are based solely on evidence and reader benefit.
