How to Use the Scientific Calculator
This free online scientific calculator supports all standard scientific functions including trigonometry (sin, cos, tan), logarithms (log, ln), exponentials, factorials, absolute values, and more. It works in both Degree and Radian mode for trigonometric functions.
Available Functions
Trigonometry
sin, cos, tan and inverses
Logarithms
log (base 10), ln (natural)
Powers
xʸ, 10ˣ, eˣ, √, ∛
Constants
π = 3.14159..., e = 2.71828...
Degree vs Radian Mode
Toggle between DEG and RAD mode using the button. In Degree mode, sin(90) = 1. In Radian mode, sin(π/2) = 1. Most everyday calculations use Degree mode; physics and calculus often use Radian mode.
